“Pain is temporary.
It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place.
If I quit, however, it lasts forever.”          -Lance Armstrong

  1. Dad says:

Pain can’t stop me. It makes me feel how good it was when there was no pain and I won’t allow pain to get me down because the Lord will never give me more than I can stand.

  2. My immediate thought was “pain” in yoga practice. If it’s muscular pain I’d agree, but if it’s joint pain – it’s a message that something is being done wrongly. Some adjustment to the posture might help alleviate a major injury in the future, without having to stop doing the practice.
